The Casentino is an area full of opportunities for all types of tourism. The valley is entirely surrounded by the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennine mountains, which separate it to the north from Emilia Romagna, to the east from the Val Tiberina and to the west from the Valdarno Fiorentino. Going south you can easily reach the city of Arezzo, one of the most long-lived cities in central Italy, rich in culture, entertainment and activities of various kinds.

The many paths that are found in our forests are marked according to their characteristics and various associations organize guided tours to discover the beauties of the National Park of Casentino Forests. Recently established, the park is the second largest in Europe, extending its borders from the Tuscan to the Romagnolo (about 368 Km2), and presents an incredible variety of Fauna and Flora. Our woods are ideal for long walks immersed in the green of nature, or for the seasonal search for mushrooms and chestnut harvesting.

For lovers of two wheels there are mountain-byke rental shops for normal and electric pedal assisted last generation, also equipped for delivery and subsequent collection at the end of the bike rental at the accommodation facilities. From our farm you can thus reach the most beautiful scenic roads, exploring the ancient paths that once linked the various mountain villages of Casentino. Further downstream, starting from the nearby village of Rassina, a beautiful cycle path begins, characterized by its natural appearance thanks to the bottom made of stabilized material. The cycle path runs along the Arno river to the village of San Piero in Frassino, for about 10 km. Moreover, starting from the village of Bibbiena, a second stretch of cycle path begins that connects the countries of Bibbiena, Sochi and Partina, extending so for another 10 Km.

For the more "brave" it will also be possible to practice the fabulous paragliding in tandem, thanks to the help of a two-seater driven by the Casentino paragliding instructors. You will fly over the soft Tuscan hills, the woods of the national park furrowed by the streams that Dante Alighieri himself remembered several times in the Divine Comedy.

To make even the little ones happy, you can spend a day at the Stia adventure park, located about 20km away, surrounded by the green Parco della Rana, a natural river oasis created on the famous Arno river. Children and adults can experience breathtaking climbs, clinging to steel cables placed on the trunks of the trees along the river, all under the eyes of experts in the field who will teach you to use carabiners and pulleys in complete safety. Through the use of pulleys you can literally fly from one side of the river to another, suspended at a height of 10 meters.

From the culinary point of view the Casentino is an area full of opportunities. In the local restaurants you can taste many typical dishes of the Tosco-Romagnola cuisine: delicious meats and cheeses, tasty pasta dishes such as homemade lasagna, ravioli, potato tortelli, tortellini with meat filling, all seasoned with excellent homemade ragù. Mushrooms and truffles can not be missing, of which our area is particularly rich, and the second courses of pork and veal, like the Florentine steak cooked on the grill as Tuscan tradition. You can accompany all these dishes with the best Italian wines and sparkling wines, many of which come from our region, and in particular the wines of Chianti (Florence) and the wines of Montalcino and Montepulciano (Siena), among the most renowned in Tuscany and of the entire nation.

You can also go to the various riding centers in the area and have the opportunity to take private lessons and guided horseback excursions, immersed in the greenery of our magnificent forests.

There are also many other activities on our territory, including, for example, the Golf, with the magnificent 18-hole course overlooking the Castle of the Counts Guidi di Poppi, the Freshwater Fishing on the lakes and streams, the tennis, soccer, martial arts and much more.
